Gyrokinesis
A flowing, full-body movement class that opens the spine and every joint — no machines required.
Gyrokinesis is the mat-and-stool foundation of the Gyrotonic method, created by Julio Horvath after a dance injury ended his ballet career. The movement is circular and three-dimensional rather than linear, drawing from dance, tai chi, yoga, swimming and gymnastics. Everything is guided by breath, and every movement is designed to create space between the joints instead of compressing them.
What a class moves through
Stool work
Seated spinal mobility that gently mobilizes the back in every direction.
Mat work
Floor sequences that build strength and articulation through the whole body.
Standing work
Bringing the same fluid movement into your feet, your posture, your daily life.
Who it's for
Excellent for all levels, and genuinely welcoming for complete beginners. There's no experience required and nothing to keep up with. Every movement scales to your body on the day — gentle enough to start from wherever you are, and deep enough to keep challenging you for years.
What you'll notice
You'll likely notice an easier, more mobile spine, better posture, more range in your hips and shoulders, and a calmer nervous system from the breath work woven through the class.

Your First Class — $15
The best way to meet us. Come try any group class for $15 — trapeze, mat Pilates, MELT or a sound bath — and see how movement should feel.
